Things to do:

Things to enjoy include a choice of outstanding cafes and restaurants, a walk to the top of Barrenjoey Headland and its historic lighthouse, a dip at one of the world’s great surfing beaches.  Take in the tranquility of magnificent Pittwater on a paddleboard or kayak or just take a stroll on the iconic beaches here at “Summer Bay”.

Lighthouse. The historic Barrenjoey Lighthouse is a 20 to 30 minute walk (each way) from our base offering spectacular views to the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Broken Bay, the Central Coast and the dramatic coastline of Sydney’s north. Lighthouse tours are conducted on Sundays – weather permitting. Walking shoes are recommended and perhaps a bottle of water also.

Barrenjoey Boat Hire shares our facility here at the northern end of Pittwater. You can hire a paddle board, kayak, party boat or tinny for a few hours to take a tour around Pittwater. Fishing gear can be hired and they also sell cold drinks and bait.
